Puerto Jiménez, Costa Rica is located on the eastern shores of the Osa Peninsula, one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet. Not only is it home to Central America’s largest lowland tropical rainforests, but it is also home to one of the tallest rainforests in the world. On the other side of the historic town is Golfo Dulce (“sweet gulf”) with plenty of marine life, like dolphins and humpback whales, and beaches. An airport, Puerto Jiménez Airport, is next to the town, allowing easy access for tourists.
