Cornerstone Park is a massive 65-acre park in Littleton, Colorado. It has 3 playgrounds, baseball fields, multipurpose fields, mini golf, a skatepark, pickleball courts, basketball courts, batting cages, and an inline skating rink. In this blog, we’ll cover everything there is to know about this park.
Zach Mullen's creative video is from Colorado Journey Miniature Golf at the park!
We’ll start off by talking about parking. There are 5 different parking lots. One of them is next to the baseball fields. Off of South Windermere Street, there are 2 parking lots. One is next to the soccer and multipurpose fields. It has over 100 spaces and 4 handicapped spaces. The one next to it at Colorado Journey Miniature Golf also has 100 spots and 3 handicapped spots.

The next parking lot is past the mini-golf course. It’s dirt and has over 150 spots. The playgrounds and basketball courts will be here.
There’s a parking lot off of West Prentice Avenue (next to the Cornerstone Skatepark and South Suburban Pickleball Courts) that has hundreds of spaces and 10 handicapped spaces. There should be plenty of parking no matter where you go.
The last parking lot is north of West Belleview Avenue with hundreds of spots. A lot of batting cages and baseball fields are located here.
Up next is the multipurpose fields, which are mainly used for soccer. Two fields are full-sized, 4 are medium or small-sized, and 2 others are used for other sports like lacrosse. Multipurpose Field #1 will be the southwestern field, and Field #7 is the eastern field. Fields #3 and 5 are the turf fields next to the parking lots. There is also a cricket pitch here.
There are painted lines and goalposts, so you and your friends can play whenever you want. There are also lights shining on the two turf fields; games will be played at night here quite often.
Next are the 3 baseball fields. Each field has a scoreboard and an outfield fence - a homerun is 300 feet. All dugouts have benches and shade shelters, plus some bleachers. I would still recommend bringing a chair and sunscreen because shade may not be possible to find. In the middle of the three fields are a bathroom and a place to buy food and beverages. Some stadium lights shine up the fields when it’s dark. Baseball Diamond #1 is to the south of the parking lot and Diamond #3 is the northeastern one.
The 2 basketball courts are both full-sized and they have some painted lines. People can play competitive games, or just a game of Horse (my personal favorite).
There are 2 miles of trails and sidewalks throughout the park. 0.78 miles are on the northern side of Cornerstone Park, and 1.2 miles are on the southern side. They go by every single feature in the park and can make for a nice walk or bike ride. Benches and trees are along much of the path!
The Batting Cages at Cornerstone Park
The batting cages are just north of the ballfields. There are 9 different pitching machines to hit baseballs and softballs - 3 slow-pitch softball, 1 fast-pitch softball, and 5 baseball. 16 balls (1 round) will cost $1.75 or $2. There are restrooms, a snack stand, and a place to rent equipment right next door.
Many people have reported broken or jammed machines, so be aware that you may not be able to bat.
The Batting Cages at Cornerstone Park Address: 5098 S Windermere St, Littleton, CO 80120
Hours: 11 AM - 9 PM Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 9 PM Saturday and Sunday

Colorado Journey Miniature Golf
This is next to the turf fields. Colorado Journey Miniature Golf has 2 18-hole courses, modeled after Colorado landmarks. South Suburban describes it as “Putt your way through the wonders of Mesa Verde, hike along the Conestoga Pass, and experience the Florissant Fossil Beds. Natural elements like native flora, rock formations, streams, and ponds engage your senses and add to the experience.” It only costs $5 (a couple of dollars more if you don’t live in the district)!
This mini-golf course is one of the best I’ve seen. It can get a little crowded at times, but it’s definitely worth it! I love the theme, too. I’m not the only one - Colorado Journey Miniature Golf has a 4.5-star rating on Google. It is open unless the weather is bad or below 45 degrees.
Colorado Journey Miniature Golf Address: 5150 S Windermere St, Littleton, CO 80120
Hours: 10 AM - 11 PM Friday-Sunday, 10 AM - 10 PM Monday-Thursday
Coordinates: 39.623444, -105.005743
Cornerstone Skatepark
The Cornerstone Skatepark is 14,000 square feet and has grinding rails, stairs, a 4-foot pyramid, a 3-foot box, a 2-foot funbox, an 8-foot starting ramp, both 4 and 6-foot flat and curved hips, quarterpipes, halfpipes, and a few benches. Some of the skatepark is metal, and the rest is concrete. The metal parts will be very hot in the summer, so be cautious. Unfortunately, there may be some cracks in the cement; I hope they fix that soon.
There is also an inline skating rink right next to the skatepark. It is often used for hockey games and rollerblading. It’s made out of concrete, too. There are some bleachers and goal nets.
Cornerstone Skatepark Address: 6000 S Gallup St, Littleton, CO 80120
Hours: 6 AM - 8 PM
Coordinates: 39.621624, -105.000963
Cornerstone Park Pickleball Courts
There are 6 pickleball courts with concrete surfaces, nets, painted lines, side fences, and lights. There are some bathrooms and a small green space adjacent to the courts. South Suburban has leagues, tournaments, and so much more - all skill levels can play. It’s a very fun and unique sport that most people don’t know about.
There are also some other areas for different games. There are a dozen horseshoe tossing areas and 4 shuffleboard courts!
Cornerstone Park Playgrounds
Last but not least are the 3 playgrounds. The first one is next to the baseball fields and batting cages. It was recently built, so many people don’t know of its existence. It doesn’t have any swings, but it does have numerous slides, stairs, a bridge, and lots more.
The other 2 space-themed Cornerstone Park Playgrounds are right next to the basketball courts. One playground is for older kids, and the other is for younger kids (children can use whichever one they want, though). Both playgrounds have mostly wood chips for the surface with a little bit of rubber. There are also some benches, but no shade - bring your sunscreen!
The older (and larger) playground has 6 traditional swings, regular slides, swirly slides, a small rock climbing wall, ladders, bridges, monkey bars, games, jungle gym equipment, and lots more.
The younger playground has slides, a tube slide, tunnels, spring riders, and games.
Next to these playgrounds is a splash pad where your kids can get wet in the summer heat. It’s a very nice thing to have after playing on this huge playground!
The least crowded days are Monday, Thursday, and Friday; meanwhile, the most crowded days are Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The busiest times are around 7 PM on weekdays and 2 PM on weekends. The least busy times are in the morning (or before 3 PM on weekdays). This may be difficult if your kids are still in school.
Bethany Flores says, "My favorite part of this park is the Sprayground. This feature is so cool and allows for a great cool down while playing at the playground! One can activate the sprayground (water feature) by touching the silver sensors located on the red posts and the daisy!"
All in all, Cornerstone Park is one of the best parks in Colorado. It’s a very large park and has almost everything that a park can have. It’s a hotspot for locals and tourists. To the east, you have Progress Park with a playground, 2 baseball fields, and a pond. Just across the north (in Englewood instead of Littleton) is Belleview Park. There is a playground, 4 tennis courts, a baseball field, trails, a zoo, and a train ride. To the north is Englewood Canine Corral, which is a small dog park.
There is also the Pirates Cove Water Park. It’s about 10 times better than the splash pad because it has water slides multiple stories tall. There are hundreds of parking spots here, so the water park can get very crowded.
Have a fun day at Cornerstone Park!
